Backend Engineer
Giggo is looking for a hardworking, Backend Engineer to add to our outstanding team. Responsibilities include creating, maintaining, testing, and debugging the entire backend system. This person should be comfortable working independently as well as with a team in the design and development of mission-critical applications and layers of infrastructure. The ideal candidate will also investigate complex issues, provide analysis, and recommend solutions.
Some things you’ll be doing
- Write, test, and ship code that has a real impact on our customers
- Build robust infrastructure to support new products and services
- Design robust APIs to support desktop and mobile
- Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud
- Optimize for performance and scalability
- Collaborate closely with product manager to keep realistic release schedules and identify dependencies
Some things you’ll need to be successful
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and thorough
- Self-managed, proactive work style
- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to engage in challenging assignments
- Experience working with AWS, Vercel, Postgres, Nest.js, Bull, Redis

Frontend Engineer
Giggo is looking for a hardworking, Frontend Engineer to add to our outstanding team who will be responsible for building the UI for our various products. This person should be comfortable working independently as well as with a team in the design and development of mission-critical applications and layers of infrastructure. The ideal candidate will also investigate complex issues, provide analysis, and recommend solutions.
Some things you’ll be doing
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design
- Build high-quality UI components with scalability in mind
- Write, test, and ship code that has a real impact on our customers
- Optimize for performance and scalability
- Collaborate closely with product manager to keep realistic release schedules and identify dependencies
- Work with backend engineers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
Some things you’ll need to be successful
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
